| Metheny has a very smooth. left handed release. He does not have an overly strong arm, but he throws it with enough velocity on the short to intermediate route. He can eldued the rush and get some yards on the ground. He throws very well on the run moving to his left or right. He always seems to be able to make things happen. | As a junior, Metheny threw for 2200 yards and 24 touchdowns to only seven interceptions, earning first-team All-District and All-Region honors. He was also named second-team All-State. |
