This Saturday night the Maryland Terrapins plan to take over where they fell short a year ago. After losing to Duke in the semifinals of the school's first Final Four, they hope to finish off Kansas and then take on the winner of the night's earlier match-up between No. 5 seed Indiana and the No. 2 seed Oklahoma in Atlanta.
The Terps may have some luck on their side, if not they certainly have destiny upon them. Maryland is finishing off a season that saw them put together their best record in school history (30-4) and their best mark (15-1) in the ACC, not to mention Steve Blake's mark on the ACC assist leaders and Juan Dixon's scoring records.
Terps' next game: vs. Kansas in Final Four
Seeds/records: No. 1 Maryland (30-4), No. 1 Kansas (33-3)
When: Saturday, approx. 8:47 p.m.
Site: Georgia Dome, Atlanta
TV/radio: CBS/WBAL 1090 AM
Up next for winner: Oklahoma or Indiana in NCAA final, April 1, 9:15 p.m.
