Dorsey Wraps Up Strong Junior Season

Forestville High School (Md.) wide receiver Kevin Dorsey, University of Maryland football team's first commitment for its 2008 recruiting class, recently finished a stellar junior year. Dorsey, who committed to Maryland the summer before his junior season, had 28 receptions for 1,025 yards and 12 touchdowns and led Forestville to the state playoffs.

On defense, Dorsey started out playing safety and then moved to cornerback, recording Dorsey 10 pass break-ups and two interceptions in addition to 42 tackles. “The season went pretty well,” said Dorsey, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 175 pounds.
