HYATTSVILLE, Md. -- Maryland seemed to be fading for Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, Va.) wing Chris Clarke, but evidently the Terps are right back in the game. At the Victor Oladipo & Ty Lawson All-American camp at DeMatha July 10, the 6-foot-5, 170-pound Clarke said UMD assistant Bino Ranson and head coach Mark Turgeon have been in touch and want him in the program. And Clarke is certainly willing to listen, planning out a return visit to College Park, Md., at some point this fall.

Clarke, though, has plenty of other suitors in play, namely Creighton, Iowa State, Virginia Tech and Minnesota, all of which he said are standing out. The Virginia Beach wing is currently thinking about several visits and wants to take a few officials before deciding on a school after the fall.

At the July 10 event, Clarke filled up the stat sheet, grabbing rebounds, fighting for loose balls, dishing assists, finishing at the rim, and knocking down jumpers. He's an energy player who does a lot of little things well.

See what he had to say in the video below:
