TT 'Big Show' Interview 12: Quarvez Boulware
"There wasn't anything different, the message is the same, but what is different about being here is because it's Maryland. That's my main thing, I feel really positive about Maryland and they are still a main team on my list," Boulware said. "Nothing has changed."
Boulware has not released a top five yet, while lately Florida and Temple most recently offered. Meanwhile, he tripped to Miami and UNC for camps last month. Florida, FSU, Alabama and Wake Forest are his next round of summer campus visits.
"The Terps preach the same thing. Coach Randy Edsall, about staying humble and keep working hard," Boulware said. "It's really good."
At the June 28 camp, Boulware worked with Terps tight ends coach John Dunn what with offensive line coach Greg Studrawa absent that day while at his daughter's wedding. He picked up some more technique pointers, while he got to see his lead recruiter again.
"We have a constant relationship," Boulware said of recruiter Mike Locksley. "He keeps in contact with me and we have good conversations about both the school and the organization."
After Boulware takes some more college trips he will then start to pare things down.
"I will probably name a top five by the end of the summer. And yeah, Maryland will be in there," Boulware said. "It's Maryland, and it's a place I am very familiar and comfortable with."
Boulware and Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, Md.) four-star tackle Isaiah Prince head the Terps' list of top priority offensive lineman remaining, which could be 2-3 more offensive line additions in the 2015 class.
