McCree, Tyler suspended for violation of team rules.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland head football coach Randy Edsall announced Thursday evening that seniors Quintin McCree and Ronnie Tyler have been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

“The expectation of our program is for our student-athletes to conduct themselves in the proper manner academically, athletically and socially,” Edsall said. “Unfortunately, Quintin and Ronnie fell short of these expectations.”

There is no timetable for their reinstatement.

The Terps (1-0, 1-0 ACC) take on the Mountaineers (2-0, 0-0 Big East) at noon Saturday from Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.
